Hi EcoTuesday is tomorrow. A bit of a short notice but hope you can make it, great time to meet and network. It's FREE and its in Sunnyvale.
This text is from EcoTuesday site:
What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear that we have to fight global warming and greenhouse gas emissions? As many others would, we think of solar powered houses and electric cars. No, that need not be the case. Megan Fluke, this month’s speaker at EcoTuesday suggests a better alternative that reduces greenhouse emissions without altering the present-day life style of people. What is so incredible is that this plan she is proposing addresses the root cause of the emissions.
Come and meet Megan and learn about her experiences in creating support for vibrant, walkable, transit-accessible communities in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.
About the Speaker: Megan Fluke is a Bay area native with a passion for sustainable living and community engagement. She is currently working with the Sierra Club as the Grassroots Organizer for Building Climate Friendly Communities Campaign. In this position, Megan is working to increase public support for vibrant, walkable, transit-accesible communities in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.
